Items Not Okay to Sell

Safety is our top priority. The Children’s Closet Sale reserves the right to remove any item from the sales floor for safety concerns, even if not listed below.

Do NOT bring the following:

  • VHS movies (2017 or later)

  • Crib bedding sets, bumpers, crib skirts, crib comforters (2017 or later)

  • Crib mattresses (illegal to sell in MA)

  • Breast pumps (2016 or later)

  • Infant tubs or bath seats

  • Car seats or booster seats (must contact organizer first)

  • Bicycle helmets

  • Stuffed animals (unless new with tags)

  • Children’s jewelry

  • Food, including formula

  • Opened baby care products (soaps, lotions, powders, diapers, etc.)

  • Used hair accessories

  • Used underwear

  • Used socks (over 12 months old)

  • Used pacifiers

  • Used sippy cups that cannot be completely taken apart and sterilized

  • Toys from fast food restaurants
